FrontierVille Level Up Guide

FrontierVille is Zynga's latest game.You start out with nothing, you just do some gathering and taming animals and clearing your land. You can start constructing buildings and develop a town.

Some Pointers:

Energy:

The same with other Zynga games, FrontierVille requires energy to do certain tasks like harvesting, feeding animals, planting crops, clearing land. You can gain energy sometimes by cutting down trees.

Coins:

You gain coins each time you complete an action. You have to click the coins once they dropped. Sometimes you will be rewarded with rare items and collectibles too.

Wood:

You gain wood by chopping down trees which are needed to build houses.

Levelling Up:

You need to add lots of friends as each friend allows you 5 extra actions which increases your relationship and experience at 0 energy cost! More friends you have, the more actions you gain without energy loss.

Remember this is just a new game, let's give some time for hackers to find out how to level up fast in FrontierVille.

Quests:

Like the PetVille game, you are given quests during the game.  There is a quest icon located on the left hand side of your game screen.  You just need to follow some instructions for you to complete the given quest. Of course you will be rewarded after completing each quests. 

Neighbors:

Grow by inviting friends to be your neighbor by clicking the 'My Neighbors' tab or simply 'Add Neighbor' button on your friend bar. This eventually sends you to another page that allows you to send invitations for your friends to become neighbors. More neighbors lets you unlock more items and will allow you to visit more homesteads!

Hiring Friends

You will be given an option to hire up to two neigbors to perform tasks on your homestead. Click on their neighbor icon on the friend bar on the bottom portion of the game screen if you want to hire a friend, select the hire button and pay the required coin.

Visiting and Helping Neighbors:

You can visit and help out your neighbors by clicking on the friends bar at the bottom of the screen.  Clicking on a neighbor will open a menu that has the option to visit a friend. You may help them with up to five actions on their homestead. When your neighbor returns they may even see your avatar on their homestead.

Reputation Level

Reputation level is earned by gaining reputation points every time you tend an object on a neighbor's homestead. A good reputation makes you more useful to friends that choose to hire you! It also lets you visit more friends each day and receive bonuses.

Gifting

To send a gift to a friend click on the 'Free Gift' tab or click on a friend's icon on your friend bar or by going to your inventory menu. Gifts can be items such as collectibles, trees and animals. There is a wishlist too, like that of Mafia Wars game.

Family

This is all new.  A family. You can gain a spouse by completing various quests and gain a child by completing quests. You can customize your family member by going to the Family Album and click the customize button under the family member you wish to customize.

Varmints

Dangerous varmints shows up when you're trying to work. While doing actions you will encounter some snake, groundhog, or even bear attacks! Varmints will make certain objects red on your homestead. They will cost an extra energy to clear, tend, chop or harvest. You have to attack it the required number of times or chase it outside your homestead border if you want to remove the varmints in your homestead.
