CityVille Guide to New Permissions and Achievements

CityVille released their new rule on permissions and achievements  on September 16.  Check out the guide posted on zynga forum:

Hey City Builders,

You now have the option to post CityVille achievements to the Facebook ticker (the live feed on the right side of your screen when you place any game on Facebook).

In order to do this we need you to grant CityVille a few more permissions associated with posting them.

Benefits

• Allows you to share game activity your friends can see while they're playing the game.

Quick FAQ

• Q: Why does CityVille need more permissions granted before I can use this feature?
  A: Facebook ticker is a new social feature on Facebook and CityVille needs your permission to access.
  
• Q: Can I deny permissions?
  A: Yes you can; however, you will not be able to share your achievements with your friends.

Step by Step Guide

1. You will see the following pop-up when you load the game.
   
   
   
   
   
2. Clicking on "Okay" will bring up the "Request for Permission" pop-up. To grant the additional permissions and start sharing your achievements with your friends just click on "Allow".
   
   
   
3. Once you have granted permissions you will see achievements you have earned in the game come up on the Facebook ticker.
