New Facebook Game: Ravensky City - Getting Started

Game Basics

Ravensky City is a new Facebook game from the developer of Ravenwood Fair, a popular Facebook game. Your ultimate task in this game is to rebuild a city. There will be various quests such as clearing up vines and other debris so you can build a great city in the clouds. You will be building structures and will be needing special loot items. These loot items can be found by clearing out debris from around the area. You can purchase various items to decorate your city and can do lots of farming to earn cash.

Building Your Ravensky City

You will be encountering various quests in the game while building different structures in your city.  Buildings will require parts to complete but you can get the bulk of these from clearing out the area around where you want to place the structure.  You will need the help of your Facebook friends who are playing the game to gift you with some of the required items.  Building the Base Camp is the first of your quests and then get started building up the new city. You can place roads and other structures to make your city look nice. Check the build menu to find all the buildings you can place on your land.

Clearing Debris

As you decorate and place buildings on your city you'll need to clear out the various rocks, vines and other structures.  You will be needing energy to clear those debris which recharges gradually as you play. To get more energy in Ravensky City, visit Facebook friends or buy some more in the game store. Energy is found under the “special” tab but costs game cash to buy. The easiest way to get energy is to just visit friends and have them send you energy gifts. Monsters called "blight" may appear as you clear debris so you’ll need to stop and fight them back.  You will gain coins, experience, and loot items such as wood as fruit of your labor.

Collections

In the game you will be able to pick up various items while clearing. Some of these items go into the collections found in the game. Click the collections tab to view them which you’ll find under the “storage” tab in the main interface. Once you complete a collection you can vault it in for a reward. In the game you collect “patches” which are rewards for completing certain tasks such as chopping down trees or achieving a city rank.

Farming

Just like other Facebook games there is also a farming element on Ravensky City. At the start of the game you will get a couple of patches of land where you can raise crops. Crops will give you coin when you collect them. Collect additional coins from clearing debris and collecting rewards from buildings. Some crops give you special items such as stones that help you with the construction of various city structures.

Totems

When you clear debris, monsters come across and frighten your population. Build structures called totems which clear a radius around your important buildings to keep the monsters at bay. Totems require coins, wood, and stone. Find wood and stone by clearing debris on your new city. Build new totems when you have free cash and resources in key locations around your city.

Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this website. It's simple, yet effective.
A lot of times it's challenging to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox. Superb Blog!

When I originally commented I clicked the "Notify me when new comments are added" checkbox and now each time a comment is added I
get several emails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
Thank you!

I believe everything posted was very logical.
However, what about this? what if you were to write a killer
headline? I am not saying your content is not good.

, however what if you added something to maybe get a person's attention? I mean "New Facebook Game: Ravensky City - Getting Started" is a little plain. You ought to look at Yahoo's front page and
note how they create article titles to grab people to click.
You might add a video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about
what you've written. Just my opinion, it could bring your posts a little livelier.
