Start your journey towards cooking bliss by clicking your grill.
The Grill cooking menu will appear where you can start cooking. Notice that you already have tomatoes and mushrooms you need. Click the “Start” button to cook Veggie Kebabs!
Next, click the tomato, mushrooms and brush icons to complete the preparation phase.
When the Veggie Kebab as finished cooking, click the grill to serve it to your counter.
Congratulations! Now that you have the cooking basics down, it’s time to name your restaurant. Keep in mind that you may enter a name that is not accepted by our system. Simply try a different name. Don’t worry, you can always change the name later!
You have now mastered the cooking basics and named your restaurant. Why not invite your friends to play with you? Notice the “All Friends” and “Likes Games” tabs at the top of the pop-up window. The “All Friends” tab will display all of your Facebook friends while the “Likes Games” tab will display friends that play other games in the list. You can search for a specific person by using the search box just below the tabs.
Once you are ready, click the “Invite Friends” button at the bottom of the window and a message will be sent to your friends to join you in ChefVille.
Now it’s time to personalize your avatar. You can choose from many different options to make your chef exactly the way you like. Choose the gender and skin color that you like. If you would like to personalize your avatar further, click the “Customize” button. If you are finished, click the “Done” button. Don’t worry; you can personalize your avatar at a later time if you wish.
You can choose to customize your avatar’s hair, eyes, nose, mouth, tops, bottoms and footwear. Click a category and the options will appear to the right. Click the “Next” button to explore the options. When you find an option you like, click the “Wear” button to try it on. You can try on as many options as you like.
When you are finished, click the “Done” button.
Viola! Your avatar is ready to go!
Click the Grill to cook another dish.
The Grill menu will open. Now you will need to cook another Veggie Kebab, but this time you don’t have enough tomatoes. Click the yellow arrow on the tomato icon to find more tomatoes.
Click the “Show Me” button.
You will be directed to the tomato trees where you can gather more tomatoes.
Click the tomato tree to collect tomatoes.
Now that you have enough tomato trees to cook the Veggie Kebab, click the “Start” button to prepare the dish.
Click the tomato, mushrooms and brush icons just above the Grill to complete the preparation steps.
When the Veggie Kebab is ready, click the Grill to serve it to your counters.
After you cook a dish a certain number of times, you will earn enough experience to master a recipe. You can master a dish in three stages; beginner, intermediate and master. The more you master a dish, the more servings you will receive.
When you have new goals, an icon will appear on the left side of your screen. Sometimes an avatar will visit your restaurant as well. Click on the icon or the avatar to display the goal.
Sometimes the avatars will tell you more about themselves or what they need.
In this example, Ginger would like you to expand your culinary horizons by unlocking the Mom n’ Pop Shop area. Click the “Show Me” button to be directed to the Mom n’ Pop Shop area.
Click the Mom ‘n Pop Shop to open up the requirements to unlock it.
Once you have met the requirements, you will then be able to unlock the shop. Click the “Share Free Energy” to share it with your friends.
As a reward for unlock the shop, Ginger has awarded you with coins, XP and an ingredient. Click “Share Free Reward” to share it with your friends.
Ginger would like to show you the town. Click the “Ok” button.
The requirement for the goal will be displayed in the next window. To find the location of the Full Screen button, click “Show Me”.
You will be directed to the Full Screen button.
Click the Full Screen button to enter the Full Screen mode. To leave this mode, press the ESC button on your keyboard.
Once you have completed all of the tasks, you will be rewarded with XP and more ingredients.
