Platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PS2, DS, PSP, PC
Release Date: June 29
Genre: Action / Adventure
Why It's Hot:
Let's see. Harry Potter, hot. Lego, hot. Put the two together? That's very, very hot. If the Lego game series is any indication, it's also bound to be very, very fun for the entire family. It's in the capable hands of Lego experts Traveller's Tales, who have tweaked their addictive formula by adding some light role-playing elements and wonderfully interactive backgrounds. With over 140 playable characters to enjoy, we're already under its spell.
Why It's Not:
Timing, as they say, is everything. The Harry Potter theme park just recently opened and the first of the two-part Deathly Hallows film finale arrives in November. How much Potter is too much Potter? We're about to find out.
Did You Know?
Though known primarily for the great Lego games, Traveller's Tales has been around since 1990 and have made games based on iconic characters like Crash Bandicoot, Sonic the Hedgehog, and even Dracula.
